ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The story behind the home jersey is a celebration of the supporters, the atmosphere they create, and the countless shades of orange that fill the stands on match day. The graphic takes abstract inspiration from the fans, their movement, and the scarves they wave in support of the national team—a tribute to the energy, optimism, cheerfulness, and unity of the Ivorian people.
For the away jersey, we looked at the rich tradition of fabric and textile culture in Côte d'Ivoire. The pattern draws inspiration from the way Ivorians incorporate fabrics into everyday life, while the details reference elements of the national coat of arms. The result is a playful design that feels rooted in heritage while still feeling fresh.
