ABOUT THIS PROJECT
A This Mini Magazine is called “Great Women” and is a small story about Dian Fossey.
This layout has a timeline based structure picking up small elements from the actual story tranlating them into design elements
For example the red quote formats come from the read handwrinting on the original Polaroids.
Paper was picked to give a rougher, natural link fromt he print format to the graininess of the photgraphy as well as the gritty feel of an expedition out in nature. The paper holds actual pieces of plants and a japanese binding technique was used which avoids using glue and focusses on handcraft and natural fibre based yarn .
Fun project: Only one Mini Magazine was made for personal purposes
